I rebooted my system into -test9 for the first time this evening, and usbnet could no longer successfully communicate with my Linksys cable modem. Going back to -test8 cured the problem.

While -test9 was running, I tried unplugging/plugging the USB cable going to the modem, as well as power cycling the modem. Some of the messages that made it to /var/log/messages during this activity are below (ignore the date of the log messages, the clock on my system also wigged out during the -test9 boot).

I can do a little debugging for this problem, but not a lot because this is my primary Internet system and network server... please CC me on replies as I am not subscribed to this list.
