I'm working on RH9 with some usb devices, and for some reasons, I want usbdevfs stuff to be writable. So I'm thinking of mounting usbdevfs with mode=0666 in an initial configuration.
I checked my /etc/fstab, there is no entry for usbdevfs. I add the entry as following:
usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs defaults,mode=0666 0 0
But it dosen't seem to work. Looks system has mounted usbdevfs before fstab. Could it be hotplug or something? Could anybody tell me how to set usbdevfs to be mounted as 666?
