My new HP49g+ calculator has a usb interface that works fine with hotplug under Linux 2.4.22 and the generic usbserial device after I "modprobe usbserial vendor=0x03F0 product=0x0121"
Unfortunately, the usb connection fails with Linux V2.6.0-test10 giving the following errors: hub 1-0:1.0: new USB device on port 2, assigned address 3 usb 1-2: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 drivers/usb/core/message.c: USB device number 3 default language ID 0x409 drivers/usb/host/uhci-hcd.c: uhci_result_control() failed with status 500000 [c132b2a0] link (0132b1e2) element (0132e180) Element != First TD 0: [c132e140] link (0132e180) e3 Length=7 MaxLen=7 DT0 EndPt=0 Dev=3, PID=2d(SETUP) (buf=0ecc04e0) 1: [c132e180] link (0132e1c0) e3 Stalled Babble Length=1 MaxLen=1 DT1 EndPt=0 Dev=3, PID=69(IN) (buf=08f29980) 2: [c132e1c0] link (00000001) e3 IOC Active Length=0 MaxLen=7ff DT1 EndPt=0 Dev=3, PID=e1(OUT)(buf=00000000) usb 1-2: control timeout on ep0in And it takes my usb mouse with it.
