Hi, >From what I understand from your mail you do not want Magnetic Strip Reader to be claimed by the HID. If yes..... I can think of one possible solution try adding your Magnetic Strip Reader's vendor Id and Product Id in the black list in "hidcore.c" and build and install the hid module.
