I've got a problem when I attach a USB external drive to my 2.2.24 linux
system. It seems that fdisk only sees 1286MB when in fact the drive is
20.4
Here is FDISK output.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] cfowler]$ sudo fdisk /dev/sda
Command (m for help): p
Disk /dev/sda: 1286 MB, 1286062080 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 156 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 1 2482 19936633+ 83 Linux
Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:
phys=(1023, 254, 63) logical=(2481, 254, 63)
Any ideas?
