Hi there...

This mouse works on my notebook (2.6.0-test11) but fails on my desktop
(2.6.2 and 2.6.0-test4). Motherboard is A7V333X.

I plug it in, it seems to be recognized, and than there seems to be
total mess; USB bus is totally unresponsive afterwords.

System is a vanilla 2.6.2 (well some "private" audio patches, but other
USB devices like Quickcam Express work fine).

Loaded modules for USB: either uhci_hcd or uhci_hcd and ehci_hcd - same
results.

Here is the (much too) detailed log:

*******************************************

I tried to google, but I found nothing. The error-codes suggests that
this is a hardware/firmware problem, so I'll try to update my BIOS now,
hope that helps :(

If anyone has any additional ideas what might help, please let me know
*sigh*

thanks in advance,
~ Lars
