I am trying to get the multimedia keys on my usb mitsubishi electronics diamond touch internet keyboard to work. (It also includes two downstream usb ports).
I am looking for any and all information on how to get it going.

Armed with this knowledge I went to the Benq website as Benq is Acers' periphreal arm. I found a keyboard which was different, but offered the same functions and the keyboard casing and shape was very similar.
In fact the placement of the keys and buttons at the top are exactly the same apart from the multimedia setup which seems to be a different module between brands.

Mute (/)
Seems to be working as gnome picks this button up and displays the mute OSD though I don't know what its code is as xev and dmesg don't show anything when I press the button.
It doesn't actually mute anything though, but thats a problem in gnome/my machine.
As for the keys from left to right for the internet etc;
S1 Back Forward Search My Computer (Mute) E-mail WWW
I can't get any codes for them.
