Hi all

whenever i connect my external usb 2.0 hdd, i get a "device is not accepting
new address" error. after removing usb 2.0 support (rmmod ehci-hcd) it works
but very slow! on an other (windows XP) pc it works. I did a bios update,
tried the "noapic" kernel parameter without any change..

My chipset:
Intel 845 chipset (in a DELL Inspiron 1100 laptop)

USB controllers are Some Intels (usb-uhci and ehci-hcd)

thanks for help

michi
