Not quite....

You need to do two this to generate and capture this data.
#1: Generate the data -- turn on the USB Mass Storage Verbose Debug option
in your kernel configuration

#2: Capture the data -- configure your syslog to capture kern.debug
messages, ususally with a line like:
        kern.=debug             /var/log/kernel
which will make all the relevant messages get sent to the /var/log/kernel
file.
