Hi Folks,

I haven't subscribed to the list, so please copy me on replies. I can
subscribe if that's preferred.

I have a Neuros 40G MP3/Ogg player. It works fine at USB1 12M speed on
my Dell Inspiron laptop.

I purchased a BusLink USB 2.0 CardBus adapter to get Hi Speed.

The card is detected fine, and usb-storage loads OK. Reads are speedy.
/proc/bus/usb/devices lists hi-speed.

When I attempt to write to the device, the process hangs for a long time
and then gives SCSI errors, sometimes an oops, etc.

I'm running Debian with 2.4.24, and have tried with 2.6.5 with similar
results. Running usbmgr most of the time, but have tried it with
rmmod'ing all modules and modprobing them back in.

What's the first step in diagnosing this kind of thing? What info do
you need me to send along?

I appreciate any help the list can offer.

 - Michael
