Thanks for the answer, I did not know that the list is archive multiple
times. Anyway, I have not found helpful informations regarding that
problem.

I have now also compiled the kernel with usb and usb-storage debugging
enabled, but this does not produce any more output then what I have
already pasted below.

I have also tried to grep the 2.6.5 kernel sources for "control
timeout", but that does not appear in any of the drivers/usb* files.

If there is anything I can do to provide more information for debugging,
please let me know.
