Hi all,

I have a YD-8V25 multi image memory card reader/writer and I can't make my linux box recognize it.

# tail -f /var/log/messages
give me
Jul 17 13:51:44 johann hub.c: new USB device 00:02.2-1, assigned address 7
Jul 17 13:51:44 johann usb.c: USB device 7 (vend/prod 0x57b/0x22) is not claimed by any active driver.

# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub

T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 11 Spd=480 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1

S: Manufacturer=Y-E DATA
S: Product=Silicon Media R/W
S: SerialNumber=000000055ABE

I have a memory stick working yet with usb-storage so my kernel config should be ok.

I saw that the kernel file, drivers/usb/storage/unusual_devs.h, could be patched to add devices but I have no idea what all this flags mean.

my kernel is 2.4.26

Could smone help me with this issue please ?
thx
