I do apologise. 2.4.7 should have read, 2.6.7 - the current stable
kernel.

'fdisk -l' hangs for a short period of time, whilst trying to access the
drive, but ultimately fails and the drive is not listed. I've included
some information that I have pulled from the logs below.

On bootup:

kernel: usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using address 2
kernel: scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
kernel: Vendor: SAMSUNG Model: SP1203N Rev: TL10
kernel: Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision:
02

kernel: SCSI device sda: 234493057 512-byte hdwr sectors (120060 MB)
kernel: sda:<7>usb-storage: queuecommand called
kernel: sda1
kernel: Attached scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
kernel: Attached scsi generic sg0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0,
type 0

After 'fdisk -l':

kernel: usb 1-5: reset high speed USB device using address 2
kernel: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery: host 0
channel 0 id 0 lun 0

kernel: SCSI error : <0 0 0 0> return code = 0x50000
kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 0

Hope this is of use.

Kind Regards,
Rob
