Hi list,

I have a Scanning-Problem with my Epson Stylus Scan 2500.
When using the onboard-usb-controller, in most cases the scanner stops
during scanning.

/var/log/messages shows this:

Aug 16 09:46:34 metabo kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-1.2, assigned
address 5
Aug 16 09:46:34 metabo kernel: scanner.c: probe_scanner: User specified USB

Consult Documentation/usb/scanner.txt.

and here is my lspci -vvv output:

is there any chance to get it work, because I cannot use an other
pci-controller (no free slot).

Greetings

R. Hippen
