I really don't know. The results I've been getting haven't been consistent.
I can pop in a DVD+R and burn a coaster, but then I can wind up burning a
working DVD, or vice-versa. I haven't had a problem with a DVD+RW though.
There's clearly nothing wrong with any of my blank media, as it writes
successfully in Windows. Note: Plugging this drive into the onboard USB 1.1
ports works, but at 1.1 speeds.
