Thanks very much for that, Alan! I have tried editing your patch into my 2.6.8 unusual_devs.h but it has not done the trick.
Well. It does not work fine with 2.6.8.1 kernel, but it works with 2.6.9rc4mm1 (there are some usb fixes too??)
