Dear all:

I've compiled linux 2.6.8 from scratch and I can't access my camera nor
my card reader.
The card reader works flawlessly on 2.4.18 (debian compiled).

When I plug the camera or the reader, I get this messages:

usb 3-3: new full speed USB device using address 2
usb 3-3: device not accepting address 2, error -110
usb 3-3: new full speed USB device using address 3
usb 3-3: device not accepting address 3, error -110

I've googled and found that a lot of people fixed this problem by
booting with 'noacpi', 'acpi=off' parameters but I had no luck trying
this.

What can I do to fix this?
I could rebuild the kernel w/o ACPI support, if it helps.

Thanks in advance
