If this isn't resolved easily, you ought to post it on the SCSI development mailing list: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Note, however, that you should try _never_ to remove a device with a mounted filesystem. Even when the SCSI code is fixed to avoid the oops you saw, the filesystem code is liable to crash. And even when that's fixed, you will still suffer from unflushed buffers and incomplete updates.
