When I had usb-storage and ehci-hcd compiled into my 2.6.9 kernel, my
Transcend usb 2 flash drive didn't get detected. When I compiled them as
modules and modprobed them, my system was then able to detect my drive.
(I never compiled module ub). Is this normal behaviour?
