I've read in a Linux magazine today that the Logitech Quickcam Express would work (I have no idea about the prices though), requiring an external module.
Very cheap, but there's a catch: there are at least five different QuickCam Expresses. qc-usb supports most older versions:

but newer were unsupported for some time. Now the newer models should be also supported.

The Logitech Quickcam Messenger would /not/ work.
This was true until a few days ago, but now there's a working driver: http://www.ketelhot.net/qcm/ http://webs.ono.com/usr005/jarping/quickam-messenger.jpg
However, all QuickCam Express drivers are made by reverse engineering, so I wouldn't particularly recommend them (nor the vendor in general).
So the answer is: it depends. Check www.qbik.ch/usb/devices if you see something you like.
This is often not up-to-date, and sometime contains even erroneus information. But it helps. It also pays to look other pages, some links: http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~tuukkat/quickcam/quickcam.html
