Hi,
I just bought a USB2 Cardbus Adapter with NEC chipset. I am using the
newest kernel version 2.6.10 and "lspci -v" shows the following
information about the controller:
0000:0d:00.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) (prog-if 10
[OHCI]) Subsystem: Unknown device 1758:0035
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 11
Memory at 11000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
0000:0d:00.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) (prog-if 10
[OHCI]) Subsystem: Unknown device 1758:0035
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 11
Memory at 11001000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
0000:0d:00.2 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (rev 04) (prog-if
20 [EHCI]) Subsystem: Unknown device 1758:2001
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 68, IRQ 11
Memory at 11002000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
When I plug in any usb device (1.1 or 2.0), the ehci_hcd module is
crashing immediately:
ehci_hcd 0000:0d:00.2: fatal error
ehci_hcd 0000:0d:00.2: reset command 010b0b park=3 ithresh=1 period=256
Reset RUN
ehci_hcd 0000:0d:00.2: HC died; cleaning up
Afterwards the device is handled by ohci_hcd and works properly in full
speed mode.
Thanks!
Kai
