Dear Alan,

the base system of My Dell is win200 - so I can only use some live cd to test 
it.
I'm able to apply patches only on my desktop pc.
Regarding cables - this is some special cable - USB to let say 4 pins small 
jack audio.
When pluged in player switch to communication mode - I don't have another one 
:-(
