So how do I go about testing/debugging further to discover what is
causing the
device to fail? Like I said, the keyboard works fine its just the
touchpad
that isn't working. I cracked the thing open and its an Alps Glidepoint
inside
there which is commonly used and working in other linux applications
(laptop
via ps2). Difference being this ALPS is connected via USB. Or maybe I'm
missing something completely obvious? My linux knowledge is 99% related
to
servers and remote consoles so my knowledge in the hardware
troubleshooting
dept is limited.
