Does know if the ATI IXP USB Host controller is supported in Linux? Below is the output from lspci -v | grep USB:

Has anyone got it working?

Should work just fine, what are the problems that you are having?

thanks,

As you know Greg my original attempt was to get USB-serial
device to work. The only other device I feel should work
is a smartmedia card. There is usb "reader" for this
card in my system. I have read much of the Linux-USB
info (which is mostly kernel 2.4 and I am building 2.6)
The documentation is also oriented around building USB
support as modules (which I am not).
It appears I am missing something very basic as I can
not get any of the two devices to work. The /proc/bus/usb
has nothing in it.
