Thank you very much for taking the time to do this patch. I'll probably
try and improve it slightly to force a certain mode (probably sending
"0" or "1" to the file that's created) instead of toggling between the
two. And I'll probably create a service to be run on initialization (I
use Gentoo Linux), so that the port is set to use the compound
controller (uhci in my case) on every start up. It'll be nice to have a
fixed USB 1.1 port :)
