Hi all, I have problem concerning a ps/2 to usb adapter. I should get two devices connected with this adapter: a mouse and a keyboard, but only the keyboard seems to work properly (while all I actually needed was the mouse, figures).
When attaching the adapter I get these messages in /var/log/messages: Jul 17 09:24:49 localhost kernel: [17182876.072000] usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 5 Jul 17 09:25:07 localhost kernel: [17182893.756000] usb 1-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6 Jul 17 09:25:07 localhost kernel: [17182893.964000] input: Y.G.I By [EMAIL PROTECTED] PS/2 Adapter V1.13 as /class/input/input5 Jul 17 09:25:07 localhost kernel: [17182893.964000] input: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [Y.G.I By [EMAIL PROTECTED] PS/2 Adapter V1.13] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-2 /proc/bus/input/devices shows: I: Bus=0003 Vendor=049f Product=0091 Version=0112 N: Name="Y.G.I By [EMAIL PROTECTED] PS/2 Adapter V1.13" P: Phys=usb-0000:00:1d.0-2/input0 S: Sysfs=/class/input/input5 H: Handlers=kbd event3 B: EV=120003 B: KEY=10000 7 ff87207a c14057ff febeffdf ffefffff ffffffff fffffffe B: LED=1f /proc/bus/usb/devices shows: T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 6 Spd=1.5 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=049f ProdID=0091 Rev= 1.12 S: Manufacturer=Y.G.I By [EMAIL PROTECTED] S: Product=PS/2 Adapter V1.13 C:* #Ifs= 2 Cfg#= 1 Atr=a0 MxPwr=100mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=01 Prot=01 Driver=usbhid E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) Can I fix this somehow? Thanks, Jan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
