I think it's a kernel issue.
I tried kernel 2.4.30, with uhci module, and works fine:

# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 03f0:3011 Hewlett-Packard
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0471:0310 Philips PCVC730K WebCam [pwc]


With 2.6.17 however, I get errors when loading uhci module (described 
earlier, above).


What should I do next?
