Hello,
I want to connect the Arris Touchstone TM502B to my Via Epia en15000
with kernel 2.6.17-gentoo-r8.
I have to use the usbport to connect the cable modem because on my only
ethernetport I connect another PC.
After some google-ing I tried the CDCEther & Usbnet driver:
modprobe cdc_ether
modprobe usbnet
dmesg
usbcore: registered new driver cdc_ether
ifconfig -a
=> shows no additional devices.
