Check in sysfs: /sys/bus/usb/devices/3-2.1/idVendor, idProduct, ...
Or search through /proc/bus/usb/devices.

Or set CONFIG_USB_DEBUG and see what shows up in the dmesg log.

Sounds like your lsusb package could stand to be updated.
