Hello list! Looking for some help with a USB device, I joined this list. I have a Creative Prodikeys PC MIDI USB keyboard. If you are not familiar with one of these, it is a combined PC and music keyboard. The basic PC keyboard function works fine. The problem I have is this device is not officially supported by Creative, and I would like to use the music keys feature.
So, here are my questions. How do I snoop/sniff USB to determine what data they music key strokes are sending? Is there some generic USB utility to translate these events to usable data, such as PC keyboard signals? My ultimate goal is to capture these music keyboard events and have them map to notes in vkeybd, then have vkeybd do the midi translation. Thank you for any help at all, -=cybersean=- __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
