[quoted lines by Dave Mielke on 2007/06/11 at 15:14 -0400] >Where can I read about the differences between the devices in /proc/bus/usb and >/dev/bus/usb? They seem, in many ways, to be similar, yet a simple conversion >from the former to the latter doesn't seem to work. Is it that the ioctl()s >work but that the data returned by read() isn't the same?
Please ignore this question now unless there really are differences which I should know about. The problem was in our searching code because /proc/bus/usb/ contains regular files whereas /dev/bus/usb/ contains character special files. -- Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | I believe that the Bible is the Phone: 1-613-726-0014 | Ottawa, Ontario | Word of God.
