Whoever does a patch first will give a model that the
other two virtual root hubs can easily follow!  ;-)

My comment about /proc/pci was mostly to suggest
that it'd be handy to distinguish ALI, NEC, PIIX4, and
so on.  Distinguishing two OHCI (or UHCI) controllers
could be tricky ... aids like that could help.

The bit about pointer should have been more specifically
the register areas -- again, to distinguish instances.
I don't think the register areas will routinely relocate
to different spots for a given machine.

That's all since Matt's original post covered both the
"two _types_ of controller" case and the "multiple
instances of one type" case.  He didn't say if the OHCIs
were the same controller (e.g. PIIX3) or not ... so I
just assumed the worst case, where something along the
lines of a register pointer would be needed to help
distinguish the controllers!!
