This patch fixes problems from repeatedly insmoding/rmmoding the
usb-storage driver. While this does still leave some resources around
(about 16 bytes/device, plus a running thread), it is, all in all, much
more stable than any previous version.
This patch also fixes a problem that was teased out by the ORB usb drive.
The ORB USB drive still does not work -- the device is continually
indicating a reset condition, even when that should have been cleared.
However, this fix is still important, as other devices will probably
tease out this bug. I am continuing to work on getting the ORB drive to
work.
Randy -- please apply this. The diff is against 2.3.99-pre3-2, but should
also apply to 2.3.99-pre3-3 (which was the latest the last time I looked).
