Not neccessarily. I personally am getting very bored of vendors releasing
their own vendor specific x86 only drivers and then bitching because the
kernel developers reject them in favour of the existing tested multiplatform
stuff.
I just hope Iomega are going to work with the existing maintainers not do
anything silly.
