Thanks for the leads on the kernel profilers. But before I tackle that
side of things it occured to me that I should verify/reproduce my problems
using other techniques.
Hence, I'm planning to give a try at libusb to see if I can reproduce my
ssllllooooowwwww performance that I'm seeing (and getting reports) on when
scanning images that involve considerable data ([EMAIL PROTECTED] great
at grayscale@75dpi).
