[linux-usb] How long can a USB cable be, before I start having trouble...

I need a cable to be longer than 25 meters, and I wanted to
know what can I do to get that lenght without problems with
linux, I'm planning to connect 5 cameras from 5 different 
classrooms, so I don't know how to do so.
Any help will be greatly appreciated :-)
