usbcore as a module works fine, as do input, hid, mouse.
Maybe we need more in-kernel testing (=> rebooting).
Are you using hid or usbmouse (HIDBP)?
Modules or in-kernel?
What USB modules are loaded?

Are you referring to most modules having module_init() and
module_exit() defined by not used? I got that every time
until 1 or 2 days ago, when there was a patch posted on the
kernel mailing list to prevent it. I hope Linus accepts
the patch, altho the real (correct) fix for it IMO is to
fix gcc, and there have been suggestions to do this, but I
don't know if/when it will happen.
