Hi,
I got a flashcard reader from a company calles SCM (Delivered with my Nikon
Coolpix camera). I tried following the description for installing the reader,
but i never reach the point where the device is supposed to register itself as
a scsi host.
It recognizes the device as a new USB device when loading the usb-storage
module, but responds with:
-----
May 9 02:02:56 styx kernel: Manufacturer: Shuttle Technology Inc.
May 9 02:02:56 styx kernel: Product: E-USB Bridge
May 9 02:02:56 styx kernel: ov511: probing for device...
May 9 02:02:56 styx kernel: usb.c: unhandled interfaces on device
May 9 02:02:56 styx kernel: usb.c: This device is not recognized by
any installed USB driver.
-----
I tried probing around the source and maillist archive and found something
about "unusual devices", but I cannot figure out where to register this one.
The USB system is working, my Creative Webcam3 is working without problems at
all.
Could anyone perhaps point me in the right direction?
yours,
Jesper Angelo
