Hi I ve a philips vesta pro working on a PII with suse 6.4, kernel 2.3.51. I ve download the module from:http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/ My problem is that each time I try to open /dev/video I get a reply saing: d: No such device Everythimng seems to be correctly instaleed. The light on the camera is not on (Iyeasterday it was)) I can't open also the /dev/dsp and /dev/audio . I am not the rrot but I ve the correct permissions. What I allways get is the no cuch device. If you can help send me an email or something I can tell my system administrator in a clear way.
