In fact, Geocrawler is essentially useless for trying to read list mail.
The link for a single message actually differs depending on what index page
you are on, so it is impossible to know what you have already read by the
link color.
I suppose it works OK for searching, but just don't tell anyone to read the
list archives for something, because it's just too difficult.
Some Sourceforge lists have something resembling Hypermail archives, but
their handling of MIME is completely busted. Why they couldn't just use
MHonArc us beyond me, unless it's language bigotry. (MHonArc is in Perl,
while Python seems all the rage right now.)
If you want to have useful web-based list archives and want to use
Sourceforge, set up your own archives somewhere else.
