By the way, it still takes a long time (couple seconds) for the
usb-storage to load with the alternate driver. It could just be the afs
uhci times out faster somewehere ...

Umm, my device is idProduct == 2, while Naohiko's is idProduct == 3, so
that patch won't work without adding an extra entry for the
CompactFlash (as opposed to SmartMedia) device.
