Speaking of specs from SCM...

I now have the basic specs from SCM on how to communicate with one of these
SmartMedia devices. Wow is this ugly... it basicaly is the SmartMedia
command set translated to run over USB.

The problem is this: I don't have time to develop this. It's not
difficult, but it sure as heck isn't easy either. I'm looking for one or
two developers to work on this. The terms under whcih I got these specs
are that I can share them with my "team", but they are _not_ for general
distribution. So only volunteer if you're willing to actually seriously
develop support and see this thing through.

People who are interested should e-mail me directly. I'm really looking to
put together a small to medium sized team to work on various specs for
various devices as I get them. I'm expecting specs for the OnStream ADR
USB tape drive "soon", as well as specs for shuttle-based CompactFlash
readers. So there will be plenty to do for a pretty good number of people.

In the meantime, I'm going to go back to improving the stability of the
driver.

It was a new hope.
