Three weeks ago I had a problem w/ the Kodak dc290 USB camera and pre9
kernel. I posted a report saying it reliably caused an OOPS. However
now that report should be retracted as I am unable to generate that same
environment which made the OOPS happen.
But....I have a new one. Using the 'ks' tool, if you download and
delete back to back in fast order, you will confuse the camera and it
will lock up. After pulling the batteries, it's picture index counter
resets back to the last time span you took pictures before the current
time.
By trial and error, I noted it takes approximately two seconds between
the download command and the delall.
When I have some more time I'll debug this and send a report to Kodak,
I'm on the Kodak dev group. This is an FYI for you.
