Hi,
I have the following problem:
Iuse a CTX ex1300 monitor which includes a usb hub. The hub is
recognized (vendor id 0698, device 9999) reported as the right class
(hub), but when I connect a device (a genius mouse or a thrustmaster
gamepad, it is not recognized (even the interrupt count in
/proc/interrupts is not increased). If I connect the device directly to
the motherboard usb connector, it is recognized (I installed W98 on the
machine, and the hub does work).
I have an intel LX based motherboard, I tried both uhci and usb-uhci, in
both kernel 2.4.0test1-ac4 and the latest backport to 2.2.15.
Is this a known problem? How can I work toward solving it? Is this the
right mailing list to ask?
