After building 2.4.0-test1-ac6, I no longer get the looping Setup
problem that I had with 2.3.99-pre10-3 and this D-Link DSB-H4SMK
multifunction hub. unfortunately, the effect is the same as before:

    hub.c: port 1 connection change
    hub.c: portstatus 101, change 1, 12 Mb/s
    hub.c: portstatus 100, change 0, 12 Mb/s
    hub.c: port 1 connection change
    hub.c: portstatus 101, change 1, 12 Mb/s
    hub.c: portstatus 103, change 0, 12 Mb/s
usb.c: USB new device connect, assigned device number 2
    usb-uhci-debug.h: interrupt, status 2, frame# 866
    usb-uhci-debug.h: TD @ c290fa60/0290FA60, MaxLen=07 DT0 EP=0 Dev=0
PID=(SETUP) buf=012a76c0
    usb-uhci-debug.h: Len=07 e0 SPD Stalled CRC/Timeo
usb-uhci-debug.h: Link points to TD @ 0290f8a0, Breadth first
usb.c: USB device not accepting new address (error=-110)
usb.c: USB disconnect on device -1
    hub.c: hub: disabling port 1

"not accepting new address" is a new error, but not much more insightful.

There is a bonus this time: the device now probes while self-powered
*or* bus powered. (it only probed while self-powered before)

Any suggestions as to what I might try twiddling around with? :)
