I just noticed that somewhere between 2.4.0test1-ac10 and 2.4.0test2
the scanner support was broken. ASFIK the scanner.c module was not
changed, so I suspect that something in the bulk transfer is not
working anymore.
In my case (EPSON Perfection610) it fails every time. I can not get
a communication with the scanner established.
