Hello again-
I just ran into a prob with the usb-serial stuff (backing up my Visor).
Here's what showed up on console
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1512
usb-uhci-debug.h: TD @ c713bc20/0713BC20, MaxLen=3f DT1 EP=2 Dev=3 PID=( IN )
buf=075c2a80
usb-uhci-debug.h: Len=7ff e0 SPD IOC Stalled CRC/Timeo
usb-uhci-debug.h: Len=7ff e0 SPD IOC Stalled CRC/Timeo
...And thi taken from /var/log/messages:
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1512
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usb-uhci-debug.h: TD @ c713bc20/0713BC20, MaxLen=3f
DT1 EP=2 Dev=3 PID=( IN ) buf=075c2a80
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usb-uhci-debug.h: Len=7ff e0 SPD IOC Stalled
CRC/Timeo
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usb-uhci-debug.h: TD Link Terminate
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 3
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB0
Jun 20 18:45:51 debian kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB1
Both pilot-xfer and the visor acted like the connection had just enexpectedly dropped.
Sometimes pilot-xfer wouldn't pick up right away.
I've also been getting messages like these...but I don't know if they're important
(again from messages)
Jun 20 18:42:23 debian kernel: ... APIC ESR0: 00000004
Jun 20 18:42:23 debian kernel: ... APIC ESR1: 0000000c

Jun 20 18:42:23 debian kernel: ... bit 3: APIC Receive Accept Error.
Jun 20 18:43:13 debian kernel: APIC error interrupt on CPU#1, should never happen.

Jun 20 18:43:13 debian kernel: ... APIC ESR1: 00000008
Jun 20 18:43:13 debian kernel: ... bit 3: APIC Receive Accept Error.
...and I'm still linux-2.4.0-test1-ac22-riel on an SMP celeron system Intel UHCI.
Thanks for you help.
