Not really sure if this is a SCSI question or a linux-usb question...

When I first tried to mount my ZIP drive (having mounted /proc/bus/usb
first) I got this msg

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on dev/sda or too many
mounted filesystems.

my /etc/fstab entry reads

/dev/sda /zip vfat noauto,user,0,0

so I changed 'vfat' to 'auto' and now I get this msg

mount: /dev/sda has wrong major or minor number.

What's going on?! I'm using kernel v2.2.16 with USB code and the usbcore,
usb-storage, scsi_mod & sg_mod modules loaded. I've also tried both uchi
modules with all this as well, but no joy (ohci definitely won't work)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanx,
Em
