I have that thing, it's really really flaky. Make sure you have the latest BIOS update, and please update to a newer kernel, 4.11.0 is old for xhci fixes. > The first time it seems to work and I am able to use the adapter without > problems. And again, it's a really odd device, this is really a PCI hotplug device for a xhci controller.
