Hi Anirudda,

if you're only interested in using the kernel module and the non-c++
file
systems, you can try removing the lib directory (and the contrib
directory)
from the top level makefile and moving the file uio.c into the
kernel/src
directory. The C++ libraries aren't needed to compile the kernel module,
and
are only needed for some of the example and contrib file systems. eg.
arcfs
will compile without it. Similarly for lwp.

The binary probably won't do you much good... you should really get it
to
compile on your machine, that's the best chance of it working.
